Talking smack in Fantasy Football

Your typical NFL fantasy football league. That is where this current story comes from. For those that don't play this FF game, here is the quick rundown. Pick NFL players, their stats during each game count as points for your team of drafted position players. You go vs an opponent, highest score wins.

- See I didn't want to put the 411 but some people I know actually have no damn clue what Fantasy Football is. So everyone is in da loop.

So anyways, it is Week 7 in this 2007 NFL league, and my opponent had talked trash on a frequent basis towards me. ME!?!?!? Hold on there now. Did I provoke this? Nope. Was something I did indirectly trigger this? No. I don't want to discuss Mr. C and reveal his name. He labeled me though with a funny name on his blog. That is where this all originated from. For that, we will say the "C" stands for in his name will be the word: Clitoris. But Mr C. nickname has far less syllables, and it is easier for me to type. So we will go for that. I sorry if the "C" word you find offensive. You should know it does exist, and it one of the many thousands of words we have it the dictionary of life, so I hope you can live with yourself for reading the "C" word.

Anyways, the main topic. Oh yeah, that why you are reading this in the first place. So it is Week 7. My team was on a 3 game losing streak. All hope was lost. All my players performed well. Drew Brees, Brian Westbrook, T.J. Whoooooo's yo mamma Houshmandzadeh, the Dallas Cowboys D, Donte Stallworth. Then I screwed up on my choice of kicker. Geez a kicker??? Don't let it come down to that. Mr C's team did quite well. Reggie Bush and Adrian Peterson got theirs. I was 10 points down and looking to end the season in the gutter. The Monday night game was the Colts vs Jaguars. The Colts took the lead and were just trying to run out the clock.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I am stuck at work, not even watching the game.

The Colts have the game done with. Well then they decide to pull a..... Steve Spurrier, and hit a down field Dallas Clark for a TD. Giving me a last second points to win by 3. Final Score 93.3 to 90.3. What an amazing play in swindlenomics. To win by an unnecessary touchdown pass. Hats off to you Peyton Manning.

I win you lose. How silly with all the crazy things that go on in the world like economic instability, earth over population, and global climate change I can take joy in this. Simple pleasures in life I guess.

OH NOEZ Mr. C you,

Mr. C called me several things that were false statements. Basically talking smack about myself on several statements. Who wants to listen to people give false facts all the time? He called me a sports team poser with no loyalty to any team. He said I never experienced any sports championships in my lifetime.

Championship Video #1 and #2:

Ok proved that wrong. He said I was a Patriots fan this year, Colts fan last year. NO SOUP FOR YOU! Wrong. Are you kidding me? A Pats fan? What? Colts fan? Where do you make up these thoughts? Was I a Steelers fan too when they won it? Pffffft. Lastly back to the subject, he called me a poser. So I call him simply: Mr. C

Lastly, just to put it on record, on a non related discussion, The Playstation 3 is the best console on the planet for this pure and simple reason. The Xbox 360 controller is clunky as hell. You can not beat the design of the PS3 controller. Drink the refreshing glass of the truth.

93.3 - 90.3. I win, you lose and the world keeps on spinning.

LOST season 3 finale review

LOST has changed a lot over its past 3 years of production. The plot has now taken a turn for the very unexpected. So many things to question in this show. The number one question every one has to ask, what happened to Jack? We find out at the end we were not seeing flashbacks of his past, but his life in the future day. The plane crashed in Sept 22, 2004, and the story line has lasted only 3-4 months. So did Jack get rescued? What were the terrible things that he said happened? Where will season4 take place, on the island or in the future time back in civilization?

Obviously Locke has made a huge change in character. I mean first we see him in the pit seeing a vision of Walt. At the end we see him kill out of nowhere. Locke knows something. He couldn't shoot Jack. It was something he saw that would not allow him to pull the trigger. "You are not supposed to do this." Obviously Locke's connection with the island made him realize something to go nuts like that. Exactly who is planning to rescue the group?

Sawyer has obviously made a turn to an evil path of a killer. Sayid certainly know how to crack a dude's neck with his legs. Sayid doesn't play around.

Where is Ben's path in all this? It is so hard to tell when he is lying or telling the truth.

I thought Charlie did well. I don't understand why he simply didn't run to the other side of the door and then shut the hatch. Seems like to me he had time to do that. Desmond character is also taking an interesting path as well.

Oh yeah, the funeral that no one went to except Jack. Who was in that casket? I think I have a pretty good idea who is in there.

It is going to be prob not till 2008 when LOST returns to the airwaves. Hopefully by then I will have a real HDTV to watch it on. I must say the series has taken quite a turn going into Season 4.

Welcome to summer time. Love your A/C.

It is now that part of the season where global warming becomes more real every day, people can't walk outside for 5 min before sweating, and a whole lot of movies. Welcome to summer time. Hope you enjoy that electric bill. I think my will probably skyrocket over $400 per month.

I like the summer season. It just seems more stuff is open, more people are active, and people actually go out and travel.

I am heading over to the city of New Orleans. Last time I got to go was May 2005 before Katrina madness hit. I am unsure how the area looks now. I assume the french quarter is back to normal conditions, including the smell. Still it is a shame how the majority of neighborhoods and homes are still in ruins. When New Orleans was evacuated it kinda set off a realization that I realized for a while but never accepted. When a natural disaster goes down, don't depend on any federal assistance. This entire city is now just a shell what it user to be since everyone has pretty much left.

We are heading to the WSOP New Orleans circuit. I hope to play the $500 NL Holdem event. I will likely satellite in. The entire objective here is to try to make another deep run in the tournament and to make some scrilla, some coin, some CA$H! To not make profit would be a complete waste of time.

Also with summer time there are the big summer movie releases that come out. I have been avoiding theaters more and more now. There is one movie that is due out that I have been waiting for since I heard its announcement of production. Steven Speilberg is an excutive producer..... but Michael Bay is the director. So its a mix of really good talented filmaker/producer and their is Michael Bay. It certainly is double edged.

I have this very strong feeling this movie will be terrible. Cool sounds, cgi, and action scenes but it will likely murder the great story line of the Transformers cartoon/comic. I can't imagine how the character voices will sound and who knows how the plot will be. Only time will tell. If the cartoon movie is way better then that will be pretty sad.

Lastly the iPhone is nearly upon us. A $500 cellphone?!#$%&*@!? Now I know what your saying, its a glamoured up blackberry. You are not that far off but the apple factor and the touch screen will make this one of the coolest gadgets of 2007. Phone, web browser, video player, mp3 player, PDA, and a camera with video capturing. Uh hell yes I am buying one. All there in the palm of your hand. I have never owned an iPod but with this I shall break that streak. We will see how well Cingular does on the launch of the iPhone. They are currently being hush hush since they won't even announce a official release date. My buddy that works for Cingular says he doesn't he have the 411. Lets see how bad Cingular's rate plans are for this. I love poorly formatted html, don't you?

Finally, Obama for President.

Welcome to the future..... er '07

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Hello, is thing on. Obviously it still exists. Man I just forgot about this thing. Well look an update, who knew. Maybe I'll do another update is less time.

A story broke in early 2007 where in the great city of Boston 2 dudes decided to hang a bunch of light bright figures in a bunch of locations for the city. Yes, light brights. It was a cartoon character of what I think one of the funniest shows I have seen in my lifetime. Aqua Teen Hunger Force. So a "few" people in Boston saw these light brights and said. "SOB! That looks like a bomb. Better call someone in charge." What did the people in charge do? FREAK OUT MAN!!!!

WTF were they thinking. Hello!!!!! You shut down half of the downtown area and the BOSTON HARBOR! When I woke up that day, saw the news story flash on CNN, I swear to you I stop what I was doing got on my knees, put my hands on my head and said "Welcome to the future" Now look at this picture below. Please tell me if by looking at this picture if this looks like some type of bomb.

Yes this. It is giving you the finger. Now flip out. This was a nationwide news story. BTW - Austin the city I currently reside in actually had these too placed in our city. 10 US cities total. Any other problems? Didn't think so. TY. GL. STFU.

Stuff to look down the road:
March Madness
NBA playoffs
Continue of the next-gen console wars
iPhone, the future and soon to be mine
The stock market
Oh yes and episodes of The Office, Heroes, and Lost to watch
